  1. SU Hacks 3Doing something 21 times in a row makes it a habit, and habits are easier to maintain than individual actions.
  2. Reward charts are not just for kids. Write down your morning routine on a mirror or whiteboard using an erasable pen, and check off each activity as you go. Once you have completed your list, you get to have your morning coffee or another reward of your choice.
  3. Put your alarm on the other side of the room, especially if you use your phone. That way you have to get up and out of bed to turn it off.
  4. Be open to change. If your morning routine isn’t working for you, change it.
  5. Set yourself up for success the night before. This might be cleaning up, getting your excersice clothes ready, making sure your reward chart is good to go, and so on.
